Doane University, named a 2016 "Great College to Work For" by The Chronicle of Higher Education, invites applications for the position of DoaneX Program Manager at its campus in Lincoln, Nebraska. The DoaneX Program Manager will coordinate and support all aspects of the day-to-day operations and development of Doane University's DoaneX international online education program and platform. The Program Manager will: formulate, organize and coordinate multiple inter-connected projects; develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities; apply problem, change and resource management processes; assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI; prepare and deliver reports; and resolve the projects higher scope issues.

The Program Manager will act as a liaison between the higher education consortium and Doane. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well organized, and a thorough professional who pays meticulous attention to detail; accepts personal responsibility for task fulfillment and job performance; and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.


Masters' degree and significant work experience in higher education, including working with faculty is required. Must possess knowledge and an understanding of and practical experience with project management, team leadership, and process workflow. Strong business and marketing acumen is required.  Proven ability to motivate teams and manage to schedule and budget. Familiarity with digital marketing, customer relationship management systems, learning management systems, educational video, and standard academic computing technologies.  Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must.  Good consulting, facilitation, training and leadership skills needed.  Experience teaching and developing online courses is highly desirable, as is domain expertise in college-level science, engineering, humanities, and/or social sciences.  Market research and product development skills and experience is a plus.
