Doane University in Crete, Nebraska, seeks a creative solutions-oriented individual to contribute to the support, planning, and operations of Doane University's Service Desk. The Senior Technical Services Specialist is responsible for a broad range of customer service and service desk functions. As a senior level team member and point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and other customers, they will ensure prompt resolution of reported issues and requests for information, access, and other services through multiple channels including human, digital, self-service and automated. This often calls for the carrying out of identified processes, procedures, and policies. The Senior Technical Services Specialist will also supervise Customer Service Representatives, providing effective feedback, and working proactively to ensure productive relationships within the team and those with whom the team interacts.

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities Preferred for Position:

  • Asset management
  • Change management
  • Other ITIL skills related to service desk management


Education/Training:

  • Associate Degree in customer service, information technology or related field
  • Equivalent work or military experience considered

Licenses and Certifications:

  • ITIL and customer service related certifications preferred
