The College of Business at Doane University invites applications for a nine-month Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics to begin in the fall of 2023. A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Economics or a related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience.
The annual course load for this position is seven courses. These courses include Macroeconomics & Literacy, Statistics in Business and Economics, and Econometrics. Most courses will be at our residential campus in Crete, and a few will be at our non-residential campus in Lincoln and online. Additional responsibilities include service to the Economics Department and engagement in professional activities. Scholarship is expected of faculty who hold a terminal degree. Faculty who are not engaged in a scholarship project teach one additional course for eight total courses.
