The College of Business at Doane University invites applications for a nine-month Visiting Assistant Professor of Leadership position to begin in the fall of 2023. This position would be a one year appointment, with the potential to offer a tenure track position the following year. A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Leadership or a related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and professional leadership experience.

The annual course load for this position is seven courses. Classes will be at the undergraduate level with the potential for additional courses at the graduate level. These courses will include Leadership in Practice and Theory and Ethics in a Business Environment. Class modalities will include in-person, online, and distance learning. Additional responsibilities include service to the Leadership Department and engagement in professional activities. Scholarship is expected of faculty who hold a terminal degree. Faculty who are not engaged in a scholarship project teach one additional course for eight total classes during the year.
