Doane University, invites applications for the position of Annual Fund Director at its nationally recognized undergraduate campus in Crete, Nebraska. As a member of the Doane University Advancement Team, this position is responsible for the identification, engagement, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of specific prospects. Primary emphasis is directed toward face to face solicitation of leadership, annual giving prospects. The Annual Fund Director will travel within Nebraska and an assigned national region of the United States, identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding Doane University alumni and friends. This position also oversees the Phone-a-thon, supervising a staff comprised of Doane students.


Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must have the ability to speak to groups of varying sizes. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the desire to represent Doane University are a must. Substantial travel is required and the ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
